Jeder führende Tänzer dreht sich vom Center der Startformation weg und geht in einem Halbkreis vorwärts. Dabei wird er End-Tänzer einer neuen Line. In der Zwischenzeit tritt jeder folgende Tänzer einen Schritt vor und führt einen U turn back aus. Die Drehbewegung erfolgt auch weg vom Center der Startformation. Diese Tänzer werden die Center-Tänzer der neuen Line. Folgt bei der Startformation ein Paar einem anderen, dann ist die Endformation eine Line of four. Aus einer Z-Formation ist die Endformation eine Two-faced line, aus einer Box-circulate-Formation müssen die Tänzer noch einen Schritt vorwärts gehen, um eine Two-faced line zu bilden.

Starting formation - one couple following another, box circulate or Z formation. Each lead dancer turns away from the center of the starting formation, walks in a semi-circle and steps forward to become an end dancer of the new line. Meanwhile, each trailing dancer steps forward and does a U turn back, turning away from the center of the starting formation to become the center dancer of the new line. From one couple following another, the ending formation is a line of four; from a Z, the ending formation is a two-faced line; from a box circulate, dancers may have to take one step forward to adjust to a two-faced line.
